Message from Our President

bruce_stanley_MHC_captioned

An 11-year-old girl from coastal North Carolina was the first child through our doors in 1901, when Methodist Home for Children was just an orphanage.

Today, 110 years later, MHC cares annually for nearly 1,500 children and families throughout North Carolina, including the Wilmington area.

We cannot do this work without the remarkable love and support of friends like you. I invite you to join us for Wilmington’s Epicurean Evening, now celebrating its fifth year.

For every table we fill on Sept. 1, one child receives funding to complete his or her annual care with Methodist Home for Children. Please RSVP today and invite your friends to fill a table for a young person in need.

The Reverend Bruce E. Stanley
President/CEO
